Recommendations for Learning Technologies 2017 - Part 2

The exhibition floor at Learning Technologies will be buzzing with more than 250 different exhibitors to choose from. Following on from our earlier blog on which conference sessions and free seminars to attend, here are 10 organisations we'd recommend spending some time with.

1. Appitierre - Stand A6

We’ve worked with Appitierre on some great projects and love the tools they develop to help us create responsive, creative e-learning. Their enthusiasm for what they do is infectious, so paying them a visit will be time well spent.

2. Articulate - Stand F10

For a long time, Articulate have been one of the biggest players in content authoring tools. They’ve recently updated their product suite with new tools plus a new pricing model. It is well worth going along to their stand to find out more.

3. The Charity Learning Consortium - Stand L22

More than 120 third sector organisations benefit from working with the Charity Learning Consortium. If you work in the third sector, this is one stop you’ll want to make sure you make.

4. DPG (Developing People Globally) - Stand R2

If you’re working in HR or L&D and considering a qualification to help you take the next career step, then a visit to the DPG stand should be on your list. We’d recommend finding out more about their recent online innovations and developments.

5. The e-Learning Network - Stand S3

The e-Learning Network has been helping learning technology practitioners learn and connect for over 20 years. You can find out more about the benefits of joining by visiting their stand. Who knows, you might even get the chance to rub shoulders with our very own James McLuckie, one of the eLN’s Board Directors.

6. Filtered - Stand D16

We think that Filtered are one of the most interesting learning technology companies to emerge in the last few years. Their approach uses machine learning to customise online courses for individuals and is an exciting nod towards the potential change that AI will bring to the industry.

7. Fosway Analyst Lounge - Stand R20

The Fosway Group is a leading the way in HR and learning analytics and their research is always worth reading. If you want to improve your L&D or HR decision-making, pop along to Fosway’s Analyst Lounge for some independent, evidence-based advice on honing your approach.

8. HT2 Labs - Stand N14

The super smart team at HT2 have their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot in learning technologies. We recently partnered with them to create a joint MOOC using their Curatr platform. They’ve recently launched a brand new product, Red Panda, designed to help people personalise their learning. We’re excited to find out more about it.

9. Learn Appeal - Stand Q1

Learn Appeal is the e-learning industry’s charity. It offers anyone who works in learning tech a chance to share their expertise and skills and give something back. From their work with Barnardos in the UK to projects further afield in Africa, they help learning technology make a difference.

10. GoodPractice - Stand M5

It goes without saying that you should come and visit us while you are at LT17!

The GoodPractice team are on hand to chat to you about your L&D challenges and how we can help solve them. You can see a demo of our award-winning performance support toolkit and check out our engaging e-learning resources. We’re also running a prize draw where you can win a suite of Management 101 e-learning resources worth up to £20,000 for your organisation. We’ve also got some classic arcade games for the budding gamers out there.

See you at Stand M5!
